Board Meeting

Board meetings are generally held monthly on a Thursday at a director's home. All FGE members are encouraged to attend.

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., at the Mackanics' home.

Monthly Garden (work) Party on the 4th Saturday

The regular monthly garden work party is scheduled for the 4th Saturday of the month, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Usually, meet at the tennis courts end of Creek Road or the islands in the middle of FGE. Come help us weed and maintain our neighborhood common spaces in a feel-good project. Bring work gloves and a hat, and any gardening tools you think might be useful.

History and purpose

The Forest Glade Estates (FGE) Homeowner's Association was formed in 1978. FGE is a residential homeowner's association located in Livermore, California. It is governed by a small group of elected residents who form a Board of Directors, manage the yearly dues, and work together to administer the Bylaws and Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs).

The land that makes up FGE is composed of 69 unique residential homes, 10 garden traffic islands, several walkways, and a forested area surrounding the two tennis courts. The FGE association land is shown on the Street Map.

Originally the land was a portion of the Livermore Sanitarium which opened in 1895 and closed in 1965. The heritage trees in FGE were planted by the founders of the Sanitarium and several of the original buildings are shown on the History page.
